TRIBE Team Training® members will experience fun, belonging, camaraderie, support, reassurance and realistic challenges all in a dynamic motivating environment that will respect their individuality so they can achieve more. History has shown us that by working as a team we gain far greater results than when we work out on our own. TRIBE Team Training® is all about building our tribe, our team, and ourselves. At TRIBE Team Training® our aim is to be the best, work hard and exceed expectations. No one in our TRIBE gets left behind. We unite together, we work together and as a result, we grow together.

Describe a significant team experience, why was it significant?

The day we brainstormed the essence of the programs and the values that represent the company. We collectively all agreed on our values and then one of us suggested the only possible name to embody the vision and the values are TRIBE Team Training! From the first time we heard it, we all jumped up and said YES! That’s it!

Share a moment when a TRIBE teammate helped you achieve more than you ever thought possible.

The day when my fellow TRIBE HQ team members and I came together to share TRIBE with the world. As well as every day since, having teammates that are loyal and true, means they stand by me every day through every challenge. Because of our shared passion and drive, I am inspired by them to achieve more than I ever thought I could every day.

Describe a significant team experience, why was it significant?

My TRIBE is always inclusive, supportive and encouraging but sometimes working remotely can seem a little isolating even though I know I am a part of a team. Last year it was especially isolating because of Covid. I remember right before the end of year break when I was working on our Holiday video how the entire TRIBE HQ team banded together to help me achieve my creative vision for the video. Although we were countries apart with everyone’s support it felt like the whole team was working alongside me, this was only a small thing but it meant alot and reminded me of how lucky I am to be able to work with such awesome people! The end result of our teamwork was inspiring and encouraged great engagement with the wider TRIBE community which was extra special.

Two months into working with TRIBE Team Training® I was unable to work due to an accident, my TRIBE teammates showed me a generous amount of support and compassion during my recovery and reintroduction to work. Without their help and flexibility, I wouldn’t have had the environment to achieve the full recovery I did have.

Describe a significant team experience, why was it significant?

Participating in a LIVE TRIBE Module with Master Coaches, Tim Williams and then again with Rebeca Oleander was a significant team experience for me. The opportunity to step into the shoes of a coach experiencing TRIBE for the first time was eye-opening and has helped me relate to all our coaches on another level. More importantly, I was blown away at the amount of passion, commitment, and endless energy our Master Coaches bring to every module they host. Our team fuels my desire to do better, be greater every day.

My very first TribeFIT Coach kept me accountable to my seasonal goal by staying after multiple sessions to coach me for 5 minutes until the day I could do an actual “full” chin up on the bar. This was my incredible introduction to TRIBE and the rest is history.

It was inspiring witnessing, during Covid lockdown, the TribeCOACHES & Clubs from around the world pivoting their offering to continue to help people to reach their goals through TRIBE Team Training® and my own team double downing on their efforts to help bring TRIBE to people who needed it more than ever! Describe a significant team experience, why was it significant?

Joining a team for a session when I was visiting a club. Hearing what TRIBE has done for them, not just their health and fitness goals, but in life in general. It’s not about the Push-Ups, it’s about holding yourself to higher standards, being accountable to someone else’s success, and helping others realize their potential. That’s the stuff that gives me goosebumps.

What is on your ultimate TRIBE session playlist?

That’s a tough one because I listen to TRIBE music in ALL of my workouts. If I had to chose it would be a mix of TribeFIT and TribeLIFE songs because they energize me! These are from several years ago but here are my 2 favorite songs Reload -Sebastian Ingrosso Fire in my Soul – Oliver Heldens

Describe a significant team experience, why was it significant?

My most significant team experience was as a TribeCOACH. I had a full team of very different people from all walks of life. We bonded throughout the season and by the end, they were truly friends. It was so rewarding to see not only the results they all achieved but also the relationships that were formed.

I was exhausted and at the end of a TRIBE session but I still had one more round to do. My buddy could tell I was struggling and just came over (even though she was done!) and just cheered me on until I finished. It was exactly what I needed to get it done!

Frequently Asked Questions

Team training fills the gap between high-cost personal training and group exercises classes  (that are free with membership).  In our post COVID world, it is the safest and most cost effective way for team members to join the same small team (6-10max) who train together at the same time (two or three times a week) for eight week seasons. They are led by their team coach (who remains the same coach throughout the season), and who gets to know and understand each team member’s goal and motivation behind exercise. Team members will experience fun, belonging, support, reassurance and genuine results all in a dynamic motivating environment.

From a member’s perspective

Group exercise classes are a great exercise option for those who enjoy large groups (often 50- 100) and doing exercise routines that follow the music. There’s a set routine to each song. When the song is replayed, the routine is repeated. You’re exercising in a group, at random times, and you’re anonymous.

TRIBE Team Training® organizes members into small teams (6-10) in a program of choice.  The team members are exercising safely under the guidance of their coach and always progressing by learning new exercises. Each session is different in order to maximize the training effect. Although there’s background music to match the program’s energy, members are not moving to the music. Each team member works at their own pace and is guided and coached towards their goal.

From a coach’s perspective

With group exercise you’re leading by demonstrating. You’re doing the class. The main emphasis is on leading the group. It’s challenging to provide individual attention in a large group.

With TRIBE Team Training®, you’ll coach new exercises (including progressions and regressions) at the start of each session and then you’re coaching the team and the individuals to fulfil their exercise goals. It’s a combination of sports team coaching and personal training. There is the team focus and environment along with one-on-one coaching. TRIBE empowers the coach to do what they do best – deliver! The TRIBE system does the marketing, helps them recruit teams and removes the headache of having to come up with new lesson plans.

From an operator’s perspective

The decision whether or not to offer group exercise is fundamental to the business plan and market positioning for each fitness business. The business of group exercise works well for a high volume club where class numbers are at least 50. Most centers license their group-ex programming to ensure quality, variety and consistency for members.

Every club has a group of members who, if exposed to TRIBE Team Training® would be willing to pay for it (a fraction of PT costs) and become long-term team members in their respective programs. Many TRIBE operating clubs have a minimum retention rate of 70%. TRIBE can also boost much-needed secondary revenue. It’s possible for TRIBE to earn the club as much (and more) than they earn from personal training.
