TribeFIT™ Season Four 2020 – Day Two

We are excited to bring you Season Four 2020! As government restrictions ease, our teams will be coming back together again, and it is so great to have YOU back! Some clubs will be opening their doors again after coming out of lockdown with minimal restrictions while others will be opening with many restrictions in place. As a result, they may be offering a combination of in-club and at-home sessions. If your clubs are unable to open, not to worry…we’ve got you! Check out all our Coaching Tips for best practice so that you can coach these sessions from home. As always, listen to your government guidelines and adhere to all your club’s policies. Stay safe team!

Our development for this season is based on creating a dynamic, powerful, strong, and athletic human animal. We start our first phase by focusing on exercises that challenge our neuromuscular efficiency – the body’s ability to use the nervous system to prioritize muscles that create (or decrease) force, stabilize position and increase quality of movement and movement performance.

We do this by using exercises that require total body integration combined with unilateral and bilateral movement patterns in multiple planes of motion. These will be combined in high volume (time and reps) formulas to also build on our cardiovascular fitness. From there we enter our second phase. The foundations of the first two weeks will allow us to increase overall volume (reps, time, load, and resistance) to effectively transfer power through movement, creating strong functional strength and fitness.

This is a hugely dynamic season with more brand-new exercises, formulas, and gamification. From all of us here at TRIBE Team Training®, we simply say 3, 2, 1 GO…!

Understanding the Whiteboard

We coach the ‘how’s’ and ‘why’s’ of what we do to keep working within our progressive high intensity, interval training. Each session has:

  • A Training Objective which we use to explain why we’re training the way we are for each session.
  • A detailed description of the Formula and gaming behind each workout.
  • Coaching Tips to assist us in delivering world class sessions week after week.

Delivery

We have developed educational support that will give us some of the essential tools to coach our teams, and everyone in our teams to reach their full training potential. Before beginning to coach this season, we encourage and recommend that you click on the:

Our focus when delivering the season is to:

  • Know the program and study each workout. We have provided some great coaching tips to help us map out our sessions.
  • Know our team members so we can apply our full progression / regression strategies for each of the exercises featured.
  • Use Howell’s (1982) conscious/competence model as discussed in module. This will help us understand where our members are ‘at’ and give us a great cueing platform for each individual member.
  • Take care of each member and create memorable entertaining sessions.
